I am a New Zealand based artist specializing in intricate drawings of plants and animals. I use ballpoint pens, graphite, and ink to create realistic landscapes and creatures.

I use black and white to show animals and forest sceneries in my drawings. Fields of texture and pattern make up the scene.

My work is impacted by ecosystems and their inherent value. Their beauty, diversity, and immersiveness are all reflected in my works. Spending time in nature, especially the Fordland Forest nearby, greatly inspires me. My love of the outdoors and my studies in conservation biology are reflected in my paintings.

I want my drawings to be immersive. When taking in nature, I urge the viewer to slow down and pay greater attention. I want the onlooker to see the unseen. I want the human need to feel alive in nature to be reflected in my drawings. I want the viewers' experiences and memories of their time spent in Fiordland to be reflected in my drawings.
